STLBG meeting Saturday, May 10th
The Guild’s first open meeting will be held on Saturday, May 10th at 1 p.m. at Benton Park Cafe, who is generously hosting our meetings. They have fantastic coffees and I’ve eaten and loved everything on their menu.
All members of the Guild are highly encouraged to attend this first meeting - please RSVP within either the comments or on the appropriate thread in the forums. The Guild will discuss its first big project slated for this fall, among other issues.
The meeting is open to non-members for a $5 admission fee. If you’re considering joining, this would be a perfect opportunity to see what we’re all about. We’ll also be accepting and registering new members before and after the meeting.

would love to come, but that’s the same day as I graduate college (in the TWA Dome no less). Maybe the next meeting for sure
Will not be able to make it. The Jake has two ball games that day, and Olivia has her gymnastics performance at 2:00. Throw 3 birthday parties into the mix for the day as well, and we are flat out booked solid. Sorry I am going to miss the first official meeting!!!
Regretfully, I won’t be there. I go to school in Minneapolis once a month, and that’s my weekend. Won’t be home until 8:30 Sat night. Fill me in on what I miss!
I need to double-check Maddy’s softball schedule but otherwise I can’t think of a reason I can’t make it.
I too am otherwise occupied, volunteering at the concessions booth at the Boy’s school tailgate sale. 5031 Potomac, if anyone’s interested. Friday evening, Saturday most of the day. Bargains & me as barista.

Crap! I can’t go! Boo hiss. Gabe has soccer and then Mike has a big Shriner’s function that lasts all day and the families are invited. We’ve already RSVP’d to that. Next meeting for sure, unless we’re out of town.
I would love to be there - but i am afraid i already have a meeting over in Peoria I have scheduled. I will try to be at the next one.
$5 non member fee is a great idea. I have been throwing the idea around about joining and Saturday would be perfect…but with 2 soccer games I’m going to have to see if I can fit this in… If I can I will let you know. Will you have the non member option at every meeting?

Saturday doesn’t work for me but I’m sorry to miss the gathering and hope to be able to make another one soon.
Ugh, no can do as friend is coming into town. Hopefully can meet up at the next one.
I previously stated I could attend, but now my family’s Saturday games have been pushed from early morning to afternoon to try to let the fields dry out from the rain. So looks like I won’t be able to attend after all. Sorry I’ll miss it.
I will be there. I am not a member, but considering joining. A colleague in Virginia (believe it or not) let me know about the event and suggested I go.
